Especially for my working dog, Cowboy. He’s more active than most, and kibble just wasn’t cutting it.
That’s when...
I started looking deeper into what was actually in the food and treats I was giving them.
What I found honestly pissed me off...
Meat meals, corn syrup, fillers, lab-made vitamins, and inflammatory ingredients, disguised as “natural.”
That's when I decided to do better, for them!

So wild that when I shared what I was doing, other invested dog owners started
asking for it too. That’s when Back 40 Dogs was born, and I knew I had to do it
the right way.
